Silver Find from Camp Crittenden AZ Territory

What is it? Hello Treasurenet! I dug this item on the grounds of old Camp Crittenden, AZ Territory. The front looks to be silver stamped around an iron back with slight remnants of some sort of attachment. Its size is slightly larger than a Morgan dollar. It looks Roman but Spanish would fit better for the location of the find (Southern Arizona). Thought it might be a cape keeper or a bridal rosette. Any ideas out there?
