Solved An old bark saw? A pink thing and more

I think "A" is an old ( I have no idea how old) bark removing saw? I know what a few of these things are, but some of the others I have no clue? All help and or comments are appreciated!

It looks similar, but there are no nail holes in it. That type of bracket was used to suspend water pipes.

We have seen these before on here .. here is a link to a previous discussion: http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.p...,215694.0.html

Yes, "E" is an alligator clip off of an old Rotary phone. Thank You everyone for your thoughts! What about the long metal rods flat on one side and bumpy on the other. Dug several from a sand road, different lengths. Thanks again, Cindy

The electrical clip has many applications. I dont recall seeing those on rotary phones per se unless it was a special test phone with test clips. http://www.muellerelectric.com/multi_purpose.html

You could use it for your electrolysis.

I have several draw knives in my wood shop and the tasks vary...some are used to scoop chair seats and others are used to make handles for garden tools or whatever...(wagon axels, and the like)

That is interesting, I didn't know that, I never even heard of the term "draw knife" until this forum! Do you have any idea of the age of this type of saw? Thank You for your feedback and the information. Cindy

Sorry about the capital letters, It came right off the link that I got this information from. This is why I thought it was from a rotary phone: http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedi...tary-telephone
VINTAGE WESTERN ELECTRIC ROTARY TELEPHONE .
"EI" ON HANDLE. BACK OF PHONE READS: "WESTERN ELECTRIC MADE IN USA PAT IN USA SEPT 16 24 PATS APP FOR". T IS A "B1 " ABOVE THE CORD ON THE BACK. T ARE TWO CORDS COMING OUT OF THE PHONE. ONE TO THE RECEIVER, NO FRAYS. THE OTHER CORD IS INTACT WITH THREE WIRES COMING OFF THE END WITH CLAMPS THAT READ: " PEE WEE PAT CLIP" AND "MUELLER ELECTRIC CO. CLEV,O.USA".

Re: An old bark saw? A pink thing and more

I dont understand why someone would put clamps on a rotary phone line unless they were using it as a test phone. The clamp could have come from anything and they are commonly called battery clamps becvause they are more commonly used on battery chargers or to clip to a battery and most likely not from a phone.
