    What hair is this?

A bobcat has been killing animals on my vacant property in South Central Florida. Judging by the feathers, it is mostly birds and the neighbors chickens.

But I found this tuff of hair. The hair tips are grey but it has a lot of brown. What is it from?

I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

    Killer squirrel?

Dead and eaten chickens and roosters. The bones are all there and feathers are scattered. They are not far from the coop. Buzzards pick the bones. I have found at least 5 or 6 sets of feathers and bones. Some farther away than others.

I have also found feathers from doves and mockingbirds.

Scat in the drivway has hair in it. It looks like bobcat to me.

Really? I didnt know they bury them.

I havent seen many tracks because the area is so dry lately. For some reason they are pumping off all the water. I actually like a little swamp. Its like sugarsand now. But there is scat everywhere in my driveway.

I cannot tell if they are decapitated. Are you suggesting that maybe the neighbors are tossing them over the fence?
