    Brass throttle,...not junk!

Moderator, please feel free to move this if needed.
I was curious about a brass throttle I came across.

I photographed it to post on here, but beforeI did, I was going to make sure I couldnít find out anything myself. Although Ihad never seen one before, it didnít take long to start finding similar ones online.I was shocked when I found an ended Ebay auction that ended only a week agowith a nearly identical one that I have.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-throttle-1912-1916-model-t-WC-CW-SPARK-ADVANCE-car-antique-brass-era-/110871139382?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessorie s&hash=item19d06f5436&vxp=mtr
9bids and it sold for $122.50.
My point to this is to never discount a find as just somepiece of junk, until you check it out. 122 bucks is a good start towards a newdetector fund.

Cool find and great ID!! Attachment 634880

If you sell it put a link to the old eBay sale. Use the same key title words. I did that once and got double the old sold price.
