    I have no idea

    It is made out of Brass, just a little bigger than a Morgan Silver Dollar. The opening has threads on the inside. It is a little smooshed but still a neat find. If you know what it is please let me know.

    My guess would be something dry was kept in it. Maybe some type of spices or even tobacco. Don't know but it is a pretty cool find! Tennessee digger

    I think it is kinda odd that they would use a Brass bottle instead of a glass bottle but Perfume canister appears to be the consensus.
