any idea?
This item was found recently at the beach.
It is the size of a nickel. I think it is copper.
Any idea?

Looks like a filter of some sort. or maybe a snap push piece to give fresh air in a piece of furniture. scratch the back to see the colour and you will see if it's copper or not.. Hutch.

I like the snap push piece idea. Maybe from an older mattress.

Hey Moe. I see you are still hunting those beaches. Im going with the hat vent or raincoat slicker. . But I like the old mattress vent idea too. Buttons?? Filters??
