Mystery Gold Hallmark
I'm having trouble making out the hallmark on this ring I found this past Saturday. It is worn and I can't make out much detail even under a loupe. Heck, I'm not even sure it's gold, but I'm pretty sure. I will have it tested. Any help is appreciated. I've included a couple different angles, since I don't know which side is up.
Time is nothing, timing is everything.

I think it's a makers mark but not a standard or assay mark. The rest of the marking is so badly worn off there is no way of knowing what or where its from. I wouldn't give yourself a headache over it trying to figure it out.
Give Northern Nevada Coin a call for any questions regarding US coins and ask for "Joe" at (775)-828-2646 or check out our website at

No headache here. Just thought maybe someone might recognize the mark.
