    Clock Hand - Don't think so?

    Mornin' All,
    Great weather we're having here in the UK (not).... but I do manage to get the odd hour here and there when the water subsides!
    When I dug this I thought, nice... pin off a fancy brooch or something, but after looking at all Brooch images I could I don't think it is now.
    Started to think it could be the small hand off an old clock face but again, looking at all the images I could all seemed to be symmetrical and thin. This is quite thick; 3mm and as you can see not symmetrical:
