ID:	656027Does anyone know what this is... I found it on a rocky beach, it's very heavy. It seems to have some type of different material surrounding the teet... And looks like it was attached to something on the bottom as per picture shows.

    What is the white on it? Paint? That stye attachment is suggestive of cast iron bathtub leg attachments. Can't see that as a tub leg, though.

    I vote for a finneal. Maybe from an cast iron bed frame, or an iron grate as deepsecrets suggested.

    I think you got it Matt, after seeing your post I just remembered I have a couple of those also. The bottom isn't identical, but they probably varied a bit. Great ID!
