    i have no idea

    found this detecting a creekbed, not a clue what it could be. any guesses?

    Is it possible that it is from some melted material, say from a foundry? It doesn't seem to have any symetrical shape. The surface looks random... no discernable flat area.

    It looks a little like an automotive emergency brake cable equalizer bracket similar to one of these. They're made in many sizes and shapes depending on year and model.
