This is a totally incredible find. I've been a Doc Savage fan for years... used to read the Doc Savage novels as a kid and had almost forgotten about them. I think i'll dig them out and let my son read them now. For some people (such as myself), this is a true treasure... memoirs of childhood... not to mention it's worth a pile of cash.

I see this is a few months old, any updates Capgun? I'm a big Doc Savage fan myself.

Bad news is the obvious differences between the style of "Award" that capgun found and the style of the Award Neil in West Jersey posted from that website.

Good news might be that Neil's Award might be an earlier and perhaps more valuable one.

    To quote from:
    http://scoop.diamondgalleries.com/sc...ai=2255&si=124

"What has been produced, including radio premiums, prints, a 60th anniversary bust and many other great items, are now sought after and highly valued."

If there are any initials or other markings on Neil's Award, they may relate to one of the several artists involved with the comic strip, or some other more notable artist than the one who made the Award on that website.

    Just my 2 worth.
