    Civil war bullet? Its very heavy

    Military bullet is probably 50 caliber. My guess because it's a boat tail, and 30 cal. were flat across the base.
    Due to the high price of ammunition there will be no warning shot.

    Im going to measure and weight the bullet tomorrow to try and identify it further.

    I think ya'll are right about the 50 cal though.

    found this image on this forum and it looks just like the one in the bottom right picture all the way on the right in the picture
    I keep finding 50 cal bullets. Are these things everywhere?

    according to this site im guessing its an .58 caliber
