    Mysterious Wolf Head

Any ideas on this one. I found it on the farm property I've been searching. It was close to the CW era relics I've been digging up. Looks like it used to attach to something.
No writing on it anywhere, and it's about 1 1/2" tall.
    Thanks,
    MM

I think so too... there are some "lock knowledgable guys" here who may be able to help with a better ID.

I did a little looking around on the net, and I think you're right on the piece being part of a lock. I found this one similar in shape from the CW era.
Any lock experts out there with more info on mine? Era? Brand?
Going back out hunting again this Friday, so hopefully I find the rest of it. :-)
    Thanks,
    MM
