    Neat one there.. I'll need a few minutes to figure out what type it was before it was broken.
    But I can tell you it was repurposed after the break by flaking a new edge on the front and it would now be considered a hafted scraper.."hafted"... Meaning attached to a handle.

    I'm thinking it's probably a Kirk.
    falling right in line with the others for a time period between seven and four thousand years before present.
    The material seems to be the same and the amount of patina on it.. So that makes good sense.
    Looks like you found yourself a great spot
    Don't be surprised if you find artifacts from different time periods there as well.
    I don't know a lot about the exact area you found them.. It could be gathering material on sort of a gravel bar or you could be close to an actual site... Either way good ground is good ground and it was probably utilized for a long time and many occupations

    Thanks! It's pretty damn cold but will hit it again Sunday. Keep ya'll posted if I find anything.
