    Hall-marked Pin ???

Hi all, This pin was recovered from behind a fase wall in once ladies hat shop dates around 1940's to 1960 This is based on other objects and papers found. when cleaned didn,t seem to have luster of fine silver. But still had that awful smell thats present when cleaning silver.  Odd looking pin  there is hall-marks on back-side.Any thoughts please

Lion, Letter P (Date letter), anchor (city mark for Birmingham) - 1889

Unless the P is 1939 which isn't on this site. However the P does seem to be the right style for 1889.

Tally Ho! The perfect pin to adorn your hat for the hunt - complete with horseshoe and fox hunting whip with stag horn handle. I _like_ it!

I'd guess early 20th century but I'm confident someone will be able to date it based on the hallmark.

If it's not sterling, it's probably silver plated. Monty
