Check Ancient Coin - Need help IDing possible Indian/Arabic/Greek Camel rider? Text on Back

Thick, crude shape. Bronze coin. Possible Indian Princely States from 1700's or earlier. Hopefully someone can recognize the language. Might be Indian, Arabic or some form of old Greek. The front appears to have a rider upon a beast that looks like a camel to me. Not sure. Could use some help on this folks.

Looks like ancient Sanskrit lettering - possibly India or even Afghanistan? Can't be of more help - sorry.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

I think it might fall into this category...?

Ancient Islamic Coins - Turkoman coins - Edgar L. Owen Galleries

8642. ARTUQUIDS OF MARDIN, NASIR AL-DIN ARTUQ ARSLAN?, 1201-1239 AD. AE Dirhem, Spengler/Sayles 39&45 variant? Male figure riding lion l./Legend. Good VF. While this coin is quite similar to the Spengler/Sayles types, the position of the rider's head is quite different. Also Spengler/Sayles describes the beast as a leopard while the heavy mane of a lion is clearly visible in the current example, if the same type this would cast considerable doubt on their interpretation of the symbolism. Perhaps a rare variant or a new type. Additional information appreciated. Rare?
