Since it is hard to see what the size is of this object, here another photo showing how it looks in real life.

Well yes you have Marion! Good for you, thanks. Not jewels but either enamel or glass paste was used for decoration. Jewels would be used for thing made from silver or gold, but normally never from bronze.

I looked at this for a while. It looks like it should be a strap-end or leather mount. But attached how?

I couldn't find any pics of a similar relic.

Hey DC! Good to see you again! Yes the last indication is that it is a mount for on a belt or leather, by mount I mean a decoration. I will be putting it soon when I get the time, and if I found it in England, I will put it on PAS (if you know what that is) so might find out what they think in England. Looked on the PAS for something like this but could not find anything. What I think is that this decoration would be mounted on a thick piece leather by the 'legs' which were somewhat longer then, more like a thick tab? And it seems to have been worn out quite a bit. Could be for something leather for a horse? I discovered this piece a couple weeks ago when I was cleaning or sorting my finds, numbering them and putting in a database. Must have found it long ago and not paid much attention to it because I cannot find it in my England/France and NL photos or stories. Just don't know where, but I think England.
