    Weird Square Nail

I know it's just a square nail, but I've never seen one that looks like this. Anyone know what it was used for? It's 2 inches long.

If it wasn't made with that head on purpose, it might have been a reused nail that was burned out of something else. therefore annealed and the head flattened when reused. But sometimes they made nails specifically for a purpose. Good luck figuring it out
