    Need help identifying the maker

    Hi All,

I found this item back on 12/15/17, just before the deep freeze set in. I believe its a watch chain with a nautical themed fob. It measures 6 inches in length and weighs 21.6 grams. On the clasp, you can see the initials "WJL". There are no other identifying marks. I've done a fair amount of research on the internet, and I can't seem to find another item like it. I also haven't had any luck finding a maker with those initials. I would appreciate any ideas about the age of this chain, and the identity of the maker. It was found in a wooded area near a lake, and was about 4-5 inches deep. I'm guessing that it was dropped by a hunter, as it wasn't near any marked trails.
Happy New Year to everyone out there in T-NET land, and good hunting in 2018!

That is a very cool piece! I'd clean it up and wear it.

Can't help much on the ID but it looks like early 20th C. Teen's or 20's.
