    1888 Indian Head Penny 8/7? Thanks

    It looks like the 7 is protruding from the bottom of the 8 and I think I see the faint cud mark along the edge by United but to worn for my eyes. . Iím probably just seeing what I want, but does Click image for larger version.

    rick, I think you just described me, I don't get the 8 part though. Footballman, I THINK I see what your asking about, but there are other fella's who know their stuff on the Forum, perhaps a coin dealer? they could tell you yes or no.

    Is very hard to tell on a dug coin whether or not it has this error. I can't tell you how many times I have stared at the ones I have found. The seven is very subtle most of the time. I would not give up it still could be.
    Seek and Ye shall find, (not necessarily what You were looking for)
