    Rosettes or Furniture

Found these matching decorative pieces at the same site and was wondering anyone knew what they were? The hole in the middle is so small that I don't think they could part of a drawer pull or furniture.

The question posed in the title is are these ''Rosettes or Furniture?"
The answer, I think, is that they are both!
I think they they might be furniture rosettes, similar to the Duncan Phyfe rosette shown here.

It is best as one grows older to strip oneself of possessions, to shed oneself downward like a tree, to be almost wholly earth before one dies.
