Any button experts out there? Very tiny cuff button "H & Co" backmark?

Found a very tiny 1/2" cuff button today. Has nothing on the front, but the back has gold gilt on it and the backmark "H & Co" as well as "Treble Gilt". Any idea as to how old and who the manufacturer was?

While I enjoy reading about all the treasures, my main interest is digging up the history of my farm
I'm not sure if this will help or not.

I found this also, but I don't see H & co. You could use it for future reference.

Can you post a side view showing the shank? I couldn't find that exact backmark in any of my references but, being a cuff button the full backmark is often abbreviated.

Here you go. They're a little out of focus, but maybe it will help.

OK, now that we have all the pictures we need I will wait for the big guns to arrive. If I had to guess I would say Hebbert & Co. London, or J. Haskett & Co. New York. Both were in business in the early 1800s when I think your button was made.
