    What are these holed coins?

Obviously foreign, maybe coins? They don't sound like silver. Thanks!

I have found a few coins like these before. My only theory was that they were purposefully added so they could be put on a string or chain. Kind of like older chinese coins. That is my best guess.

    They look like genuine coins.
Could be from a higher quality belly dancers coin belt.
    Most are thin stamped tin.

The three coins were attached to a necklace length chain that also had wooden or composite beads. I tossed the chain when I removed the coins. A cheapie.

On the first two coins, the Arabic date appears to be 1327 which translates to 1910 in the Gregorian (our) calendar.

The reverse of the (Turkish) coin shows the image of a 'toughra'. A tughra (Ottoman Turkish: طغرا‎ tuğrâ) is a calligraphic monogram, seal or signature of a sultan that was carved on his seal and stamped on the coins minted during his reign. The history of the toughra is most interesting. One story is: Long ago, a sultan was asked to sign a document. He didn't know how to write so he dipped his fingers into the inkwell and drew a design on the document--similar to what you see on the reverse of your coin. The image became the country's national symbol. The three parallel lines represent the sultan's middle three fingers as he began his 'signature'.
    Don......
PS: The denomination is ten 'para'.
