    Really cool guitar. It looks pretty old. I doubt it is a commercial brand, probably hand made. Really nice!

    I noticed that the seam on body is of center to neck

    If that could help identify it

    Look in the sound hole at the bracing directly under the fingerboard. If the serial number is not there or on another section of the bracing it is most likely a home job and not a very good one.

    What make and model? It should tell country of origin somewhere usually on the backside close to the neck. Maybe an old Silvertone, hard to tell. Short neck, could be from Sears which I think sold Silvertone.

    Check for luthier’s signature under top with a small mirror. Another possible place is on the neck block inside the box.
