    The limited amount I know about meteorites
    1 They are really heavy for their size.
    2 Most will attract a magnet but only very lightly.
    3 They usually have a really rough surface all burned and oxidized looking.

    For instance, it looks like the chain with the peace sign is attached to the specimen. If the peace sign is the size of a penny the rock would probably weigh 3 to 5 Lbs.

    I suspect it's Hippitite! Probably glows in the presence of cannabis!

    5 pounds would be a conservative but correct "eyeball" weight!

    Interesting piece, but I'm not seeing anything that would lead me to believe it's a meteorite or a piece of one.
