    Cuff link?

A friend found this. At first I thought it was a cuff link but the clasp is different. Any ideas

looks like a clip-on earring, but the industrial strength spring clip is kinda throwing me so I'm not 100% sure

Another guy told me he thinks it’s a 1880’s cufflink. I’m glad to have some possibility’s. Thanks for your reply!

    I don't think it's a cuff link.

    I'm thinking woman's collar clip/brooch. Late Victorian.

I agree on not being a normal shaped cufflink, but imagine those two pieces spreading into place instead of squeezing. And I see how it could work out for a cufflink

I've bought and sold a lot of post WW2 costume and have never seen that clasp type on anything but an earing.

I’ve never seen a clasp like it either. I just went on a guy that said he dug multiple like it and was positive they were cufflinks and said he also had other info to verify it. Who knows for sure though!
