    British or Colonial Copper?

I found this coin in CT where I've found Oxen shoes and flat buttons. It has a hole in it. Weighs 6.53 g. and measures 27mm. The bust seems to be facing left. I haven't cleaned it yet. Can't make anything out on the reverse. I was going to go at it with a cotton swab. The only thing I can think of is a George II 1/2 penny or maybe CT Copper?

That looks like a KgII profile to me. Also looks like there is a G for Georgius.

I agree with xcopperstax. That’s an oldie. Hope it cleans up nice. Good luck and congrats.

Agreed - looks like KGII and the harp on the back. Cleaning with a wooden toothpick may reveal a bit more. The U in Georgius is important - weather it is a U or a V - really narrows down the year range. Nice find.
