    Dagger/ knife/ Tool ?

    I found this on a 1863 permission site and have no idea , what it could be ?

    I wonder if this might be a variation of a Bowie knife. Were other CW Relics found on this same site? Nice looking find.

    Looks sorta like a harrow tooth. It would be nice to see a side view so we can get a better idea of the thickness and shape.

    I think it's an old machete. That's my opinion it could be a little to small though

Very rare bryant pyrotite 1909 fuse

    Colonial_Digger, the side of the blade facing the measuring tape appears too thick to have been a knife, so posting a thickness measurement and a pic of the side would help.

    Dear Colonial Digger, Welcome and nice find! For reference on preferred knife widths look up Confederate naval short sword. Now that's a knife. A man armed with one of these was the better of a man with a bayonet any day!
