.58 Cal. bullet with weird rifling marks

The title explains it pretty good. I have never seen these marks before. It was rammed really hard, so I think it might be a .577 Cal. gun it was fired out of. Really tough question, but do any of you know what kind of Civil War musket this was fired from?

Your hard-rammed .58 civil war yankee-styled 3-groove .58 Minie-bullet has 3 wide rifling-groove marks on it, so I believe it was fired from a US .58 Springfield Rifle-musket. So, your bullet wasn't too large for the rifle's bore... the bore had become very "fouled" with gunpowder ash & bullet-lube grease (that's what the bullet's body-grooves are for) from firing all day without being cleaned.

Since it doesn't seem to have hit anything can you get an accurate diameter in thousandths and post that?

Let me get a pic of the other side. I showed this side because you could see the rifling better. The other side is pretty messed up. I also don't have any calipers.

It kinda looks like an Enfield ramrod impression to me. Is that a possibility, CBG?
