    Whatsit??

    Found these 2 in the same area about 3 feet away, 1910 wheaty and this copper push pin? not sure what its for, semi tapered and has a crown on the head first thought was for a gun but have no clue...you can see the crown when when pic is enlarged...

    Looks like a rivet. The oldtimers called them brads.

    I thought rivet also but the crown thew me off....I was at a very remote state land parking spot...
