    That building's sign - I believe the sign says MENS - LADIES - ??

    Working with a local historian to try and identify this building/sign.

    Nice photo CT! A real mystery.

    The building looks too small to be a mercantile, but the large display windows out front say different. It
    does look like cordwood stacked around the building. I don't see a railroad track and judging by
    the vintage of the cars, the railroads would have already been burning coal by then. Perhaps it
    takes that much firewood to keep a building warm through an Adirondack winter. Especially with
    the large windows in the front. I can't see a chimney on the building but it must have had one.
    Maybe my imagination but the last two letters look like CK? Note the concrete walkway, implies
    a high end business.
