    Bullet found in eastern PA

I found this bullet earlier today in some recently upturned soil near Philadelphia, PA. I believe it is a .22lr(?), but was wondering if anyone has some further insight into it, particularly a rough date. Thanks!

.22 Short by the look of it. It could have been fired last year or last century . . . sometime likely after 1857 or so.

America was founded by tough hell-raisers. Rugged citizens who evaded taxes, spoke strongly against tyranny, grew tobacco, brewed beer, distilled spirits, and smuggled weapons. And it will be saved by those same types of citizens.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard jamaso! from another resident of the great state of PA! Take a look at Forum: Pennsylvania for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to the great state of PA.
2nd - I agree with Charlie P. (NY). I am sure other members will pipe in shortly.
3rd - Here are some oldies to compare your bullet with - I pulled this from another TN thread...

The knurled cannelure ring on it (around the center of the bullet) will date it after 1880-ish
