    I found this on a hill in columbus, ga. Popular site for sharks teeth and all kinds of different fossils. A lot of goblin shark. It looks like a claw or tooth maybe, the tip has natural wear and tou can see a "core" so its definitely one or the other, just from what? The location, I think, is called the cusseta sands formation, not sure.

    I know nothing about this subject, so don't go by what I say.
    But it looks like a natural rock fragment to me.
    Clean it up a bit and post more pictures from different angles, maybe we can see what you see.

    Also you might want to post it on the fossils forum

    Iíve hunter in that bit of Georgia and I gotta agree. Letís see more of it though.

    Looks like a piece of quartz with some crystals along the top.
