Copper Coin Found a button metal detecting - looking to ID the age/origin

I found this while metal detecting in a dried creek bed in Ottawa County in Michigan. Any idea of the age and if this is military? Looks like a crown, maybe some crossed rifles... or hockey sticks... we are not too far from Canada

It looks like a mid 19th century military button. You might check out Canadian regiments and their buttons of that time frame.

Welcome to Tnet from Toronto juggler!

The emblem at top looks like a Scottish Thistle.
So with that info in hand, in this case a golf club... creskol nailed it!
Being a two-piece button originally having an iron back, date wise I'd think around 1900.
