Is this a 37X New Jersey Cent?

This coin was found a while back. To me it looks like a New Jersey 1787 Maris 37-X. I'ts the only one with a flat top shield. If so, it would make it an R6+. What do you think?Click image for larger version.

I would have to agree with you. The back of your coin definitely shows the "U" above the shield with the "U" in the correct location. Congrats!

No, definitely not 37-X. Pretty tough to say for certain, but I think it is a 46-e.

OK, I had a little more time to spend with it and I am reasonably certain it is a 46-e. If you look at the position of the U above the shield it is totally wrong for reverse X. On X the U is almost directly above the point of the shield.
