Welcome to Tnet from Toronto lvland!

I bet your wife must've been absolutely thrilled when she saw you lugging that piece home.
It looks to be naturally worn by water and weather... but then again, what do I know.

Maybe consider re-posting it here... North American Indian Artifacts or here... Rocks/Gems

I often wondered about them having those back then. Being Native American, and having a town in Oklahoma named after my family, and my 4x great grandfather being a delegate to the Senate for the First Cherokee Nation Council, I get to remembering all the stories my grandparents, and dad told me about them having sex all the time back then, because when they weren’t hunting, gathering, and making tools, they were making something else. I’ve found lots of soap stone, I’ve also made a lot of sharpened blades by using soap stone to sharpen steel with. Never have I used it as a tool, hammer, or anything other than a sharpening stone.

Digging up relics one day at a time. Always looking for fellow detectorist to go out with and enjoy this hobby. Been swinging a coil going on 24 years now this year and loving every minute of it. Looking for members to join our group in Arkansas. PM me if interested.

Everyone is just one swing away from finding that one target to change your whole life

Also I want to thank all my great friends on here for keeping me going through all these years. Couldn't do it without yall.

It does not look like a native american relic in my opinion.

it appears to be a few feet high. I am not sure what it may be other than natural.
