    Button ID please

Found this button in a local park that dates back to the early 1800s. I know itís not that old but canít find any info or match on the internet. Itís definitely two piece, with gold guilt or plate. Has kind of a military look to me, but my button knowledge is minimal! Only ďMRRĒ possibility I could find is Marine Raider Regiment....but I doubt thatís what it is. Anyone have an idea on how old & what MRR represents? Thanks in advance!Click image for larger version.
