    Handle for something...

    Found on an old wagon road. Shifting lever for tractor or plow? Possibly a weapon or part of one of those really old goofy looking guns?I believe its brass and the ball is hollow. Has some remaining wood inside.Thanks for the help.

    Yes, it is the top part of the " hame" for the horse/mule collar.
