Another Mystery Item from the Logging Camp +anyone speak Russian?

    Hi all,

Hereís another strange one for you. I have no idea what this is but Iím sure some of you recognize what it is. Also, this little stamped piece of tin is in Russian. Any idea what it may say if anyone speaks Russian? Again the camp and mills were established in 1862 and was disassembled in the early 1870s.

    Thank you Iím advance! HH

The piece of tin may be from a kerosene heater?

The clip thingy is the better half of an ox bow yoke pin. It’s the thing in the center of this picture, used to hold on the things to it’s left, to then look like the thing at the bottom:

You guys are absolutely awesome. I have no idea how you all consistently blow me away with these IDs. Thank you very much!

Would this be an older or more modern variant on the ox bow yoke pin? I saw an example patented in the 1840s- does anyone know how long this style wouldíve been used for?
