    A faded token

A friend of mine got this token in Scotland out of a misc coin bin of some sort. I told him about how great this thread is for getting IDs on interesting things, so he asked me to post this here. I think it says 1 COR on the front and 1773 on the back, along with some hard to read stuff. He says it is about an inch in diameter.

Hi - neat find! The date is 1775 and it is a communion token for the Gaelic Chapel in Edinburgh. Here is a listing --
