Mystery age and ID on item found in mid to late 1800s farm.

Found this metal detecting in the site of an mid to late 1800s farm. It is a little heavy. Size comparison to my purple ruler and my clad us 25c quarter. If you look closely it says on one side 6 2 on one line and on the other line it says 6 2 on the other line. On the other side it says on one line 4/0 250 And on the other line it says 4/0 250 . its pretty thick. It does not stick to the magnet so its brass. I tried to lighten my photos as well in here. My camera is cheap so is my phone. So itssss not good quality. How could this be? what century? What is it? it was so loud on my detector screaming blasting. It gave a 90s signal.Click image for larger version.

Just a guess, but I'd say part of a wire clamp?

Tony is correct. It's the center portion of a connector used in grounding grids typically utilized in electrical substations.
