    one more silver plate item

This piece was another in the box of steins. What is it? To me it looks like a cream pitcher from a tea set, about 2" tall. On the side "majestic" is engraved. The bottom stamp is

    manufactured by
    Reed & Barton
    875
    6 oz
    Pat Feb 15 1893

Only problem is I cant find a tea set or creamer in the Majestic pattern, if I search the # I come up with a soup terrine, a tooth fairy bank, or a child's mug. I tried the Reed and Barton web site and every silver dealer I could think of.

As always all help is greatly appreciated,
    Matt

    whether this helps or not...
All reed & barton silver and silver plate were marked with a date mark from 1927- 1958.
    http://www.925-1000.com/RB_Date_Code.html
    http://www.silvercollection.it/REEDBARTONDATE.html

also the style of the hallmark may help you to date this.
I also don't think majestic is the name of the style.
Maybe a house name or other name. It does look like a creamer,
but maybe some rich old lass gave her precious cat 'majestic' milk
    from this creamer.
Normally the name of the product would not be on the side like that.

Take a look at this link. It looks close. The 875 is a Reed and Barton Pattern number.

They made lots of things for the hotel trade. Maybe your creamer belonged to the Majestic Hotel somewhere.
