"The Russian Buckle" - need buckle help

A girl I work with just dug this old buckle up this weekend with her new Cibola. It was her first time out!!!
I am hoping to get an ID (company? age?) on it for her, as she thought it was "junk" and almost threw it away.
I told her to keep everything from now on until I can look it over first for her.
She is hunting an old 1800's home site, and found the buckle there.
    It has says "The Russian Buckle - F C & F".
There is no patent number on it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    MM

I agree with Monty. I guess it could have also came from Bib overalls.

    ditto.
I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.
