    top of a bomb??

    i found these two right next to each other ,they obviously went together.
    is this the top of a bomb? the cone shaped thing has a similar appearance to a corroded car battery terminal!
    if it is a bomb what is the cone shaped thing for? i hope it isnt the explosive!! if so i need to know please.
