    End of a ramrod?

    I will post picture later. Found in my backyard about 8 inches deep, kept getting a 25cent signal until I got it out. It is about 2 inches long, has a hollow center and one end is cone shape. Is it a ramrod tip or something else? It is made of either brass or copper and is pretty corroded.

    Sounds more like a scabbard tip.
