I got this at a yard sale today , it's a HAM-MER BRAND . I thought the "key" feature was unusual , so I bought it . I see lots of Hammer Brand Knives on Ebay , but none with the "key"
Just wondering if it's worth more than the $5 I paid for it ?
I like it Mo. Never saw it before. Hasnt been cut yet. I wonder if its patented? Find out what it fits. (auto or home etc)
I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines. I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.
My neighbor had one when I was a kid in the '50s. He had the key blank cut to fit his Ford. You could probably get different style key blanks. I thought it was neat. Now I think it is cool. Tony
humm sort of a spare key in your pocket in case you got locked out of your car --most guys like my pop carried pocket knives back then for cutting a bit off a plug of chewing tabbaco --apple cutting and other what not use

My dad always carried a little pocket knife for whittling, cleaning fingernails, cutting loose threads...etc. Hes always locking his keys inside the car. Would be good for him. I try to carry a pocketknife but always misplace it.

guess carrying a small pocket knife --for nail cleaning -- tobacco plug cutting---apple / orange peeling --- pipe bowl scraping--- was a fairly common southern culture thing back then come to think of it ---packing a pocket knife is getting to be less common now with all the security spots around these days (too much of a hassle) --for years I carried a buck folder in a upside down holster --so once you hit the snap to open it ---it dropped right in your hand -- had it tuned so I could "flick" open it one handed if need be. --- it was my "good freind" in many strange and sometimes dangerous places as I travelled the world. --- saved my hide a couple times from bad sorts. they did not want to try to rob me once the blade was in hand. --- Ivan
My grandpa had one too. his was for a gm. yours looks like a 60's gm key, now all you need is a 66 gto to go with your key.!! nice find!!
I had a 66 GTO. I also owned a 64. I still have the old original titles. Are they worth anything?

I have heard the titles are worth something on the grey market so to speak, if a car has a lost title or cannot be and is collectable then the another title is sometime, illegally used. (I just heard that)
