Man in the moon with Fire Opal pendant.

Dug this today at forest campsite. The pictures turned out pretty lousy so hope the description suffices. It is not gold, that came from the lighting. It is silver with no markings. May have been made from a silver dime as it is exact same size. it has a small loop at the top. The reverse side has small indentations like it was struck with a pointed tool. The neat part is the setting with a real pretty fire opal in it. It really shoots colors when turned in the light. Any one seen anything like this?

A casts item (using lost wax casting method) with a prong mount for the opal. Opal in most likly a triplet or doublet, meaning glass over the opal. modern I would say. Go find the chain. LOL

It is a nice find. Be carfull in cleaning. Use only mild soap on the opal.
