    A couple of unknowns

Went out this weekend for a little while and came up with these two thingy's and was just curious if anyone has ever seen these before or has any idea what they might be.

    Re: A couple of unknowns

One is certainly a U.S. minted quarter. Another is possibly a Lufkin tape measure. A third is a part of a cabinet latch assembly and the last is definitely an unknown, as you stated.

I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

I have seen the first pic somewhere before but cannot place it.
Is it really a brass gate latch? It looks brass. There are over 8000 images of "gate latch" on google but I cant find it.
