Silver belt buckle - ID please?

    hi folks -

I found this buckle a couple of years ago on an easement in an old section of Austin, Tx... It is marked STERLING MEXICO on the back, and appears to have some gold inlays...

Due to hard times, I am considering having to sell some of my "junk" silver, so I wantde to make sure this wasn't junk before I sold it...

    Thanks, all...

My reaction is that it is a buckle from a square dance outfit. The front looks to have a man and a woman dancing in a square dance fashion.

buckle is part of what is called a ranger set.

Thanks - can you explain to me what that might be? Is this something old? Worth more than scrap?
