    Re: help identifying bottles

Your bottles are not old. The crown top Hudson Rock Beverages is from the 60's, I believe. The others are screw tops. The amber bottles could be bleach, peroxide, or cleaner. Do they have any embossments on them? The far right looks like a salt shaker.

    There's an entry here:
    http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/topic...67&whichpage=4
from a person named "Joisey" who, on 9/29/06, recalled that brand from his childhood. He lived in Jersey City and recalled how it would be delivered to his door, first in wooden crates, then in plastic crates.

    Re: help identifying bottles

thanks for all the feedback. the small one all the way to the right is definitely a salt shaker. to the left of that, the clear bottle has "W.D. Co.", and then "CN" in big letters both on the bottom. to the left of that there is "1885-3" on the bottom. to the left of that (the ketchup bottle) has what looks like to be "Duraqlas" or "Guraqlas", "EP-1735" on the bottom. the other two dont seem to have any labels inscribed on the glass.

Looks like a glass fuse in front and a spark plug maybe.

...looks like still a little ketchup inside... yummy.
